St. Pauls Kirch - NYC
For the last couple of years, I've been part of a church community that gathers every Sunday night at an old German sanctuary in Chelsea. It's a beautiful space, and one with many stories to tell. Only recently have I actually learned anything about the history of the building, and it's rightful congregation. New York City was once home to over 20 German-speaking churches, with only one remaining. Though the writing (presumably German-English translation) isn't stellar, a brief history of St. Pauls is located here.
I had the priveledge of checking out their Easter Sunday service this week, hearing the Lord's Prayer in German & snapping a couple photos. Their hospitality over the past two years has been instrumental in the growth of our community, which is why we'll be presenting them with some framed prints in a couple weeks.

Love that 2nd shot. I'm assuming tripod and slower shutter speed to get that range of light?
