A Rocket to the Moon

I had a chance to spend the day in New Haven, CT yesterday.   Beautiful city... at least the area around Yale.  I managed to stumble on an absolutely ridiculous old abandoned factory.  Enormous building left untouched the last 10 years... really neat.  I could spend days shooting in this place.

Super-quick promo shoot with A Rocket to the Moon, currently wrapping up the AltPress Tour with The Maine, 3oh!3, Family Force 5 & Hit the Lights.  The 'Rocket' guys couldn't be nicer... which could really be said about everyone on the tour.  No egos... just good people.

We shot a really fun portrait project involving every person on the tour, but that'll come later.  Here's a quick peek at a few of the Rocket shots.

I'm originally from the New Haven area, definitely a great place to shoot! I did an interview with ARTTM when they were in DC. Some very humble guys. 'Love the photos, I think I saw you capturing The Daylights when they were in the District. Great shots!

Wow!
Truly awesome shots from a truly awesome place!
Thanks so much for shooting these and sharing them with the world!
I stare at this beast every day. Looks like you had free reign of the place for the day! I'm glad someone got to use this place for something other than scrapping or collecting dust! What a backdrop and awesome execution on the photographs! Consider me a new fan of your work!
