An impromptu drive upstate on Saturday... always a good decision.
We found a flea circus with real elephants, 10cent Mary & Jesus statues at a yard sale, a cheesy Venice-themed riverside restaurant, beautiful old architecture, beautiful old churches, big tanks at West Point, spectacular views of the Hudson River and a quick stop at Flushing Meadows before dropping off the car.
It was a good day.
