Derek Sholl
So THAT's why you bring backup cameras!
About halfway through Monday's shoot with country singer Derek Sholl when the mirror literally FALLS OFF my 5D... Super focused on traveling light this week, so no digi-backup... Cue heart palpitations & stomach knots.
Luckily, I DID have the trusty Polaroid SE, so we finished up the shoot with some expired 669, which turned out working just great.
Today, I finally bit the bullet on the Mark ii... and found out Canon will fix up the old camera for free... I'll never again show up on set with one camera body... lesson learned.

Such a good variety and each type done well. The B&W portrait is ridiculous.
Nice recovery! The Polaroid shots are fantastic.
Did you wet-mount scan those negatives and invert them? Or are they transfers? They don't look like straight pulls to me. Haven't shot a lot of 669 though, but it's the border that's throwing me off.
Well... believe it or not, these are just the straight polaroids. I'm down in Texas without my scanner, so I literally just put them in some decent window light & shot them digitally! Surprisingly good quality with those big files.
